Day 1 – ARRIVE AUCKLAND
On arrival in Auckland, ‘The City of Sails’, seat in coach passengers will be met by our local representative and privately transferred to your hotel. Self-drive passengers will collect your rental car at the airport and drive to your hotel.

Day 2 – AUCKLAND (B)
Embark on a city sightseeing adventure where you can hop on and hop off as you like while listening to entertaining commentary; Auckland Explorer Bus is the best way to discover the most popular things to see and do in Auckland. Climb aboard the modern sightseeing bus, complete with an open-top or glass roof and prepare to explore the City of Sails at your leisure! In the evening visit the Sky Tower.

Day 3 – AUCKLAND – BAY OF ISLANDS (B)
Travel north over Auckland’s Harbour Bridge and along the Hibiscus Coast. There is the opportunity to view mighty Kauri Trees enroute. The journey continues, travelling through Whangarei, Northland’s only major city and port, before arriving in the beautiful Bay of Islands. This afternoon enjoy a guided tour of the Waitangi Treaty Grounds to learn about New Zealand’s historic treaty signed between the British Crown and the Maori Chieftains.
Following this, you will enjoy ‘Hole in the Rock and Cape Brett’ cruise. Evening at leisure.

Day 4 – BAY OF ISLANDS (B, L)
Today you will be travelling to Cape Reinga via the spectacular 90 mile beach. Climb the huge sand dunes of this desert-like area. A boxed lunch will be served. This is the northernmost tip of the North Island where the Pacific Ocean crashes into the Tasman Sea. In the evening you will return to Paihia.

Day 5 – BAY OF ISLANDS – AUCKLAND (B, L)
Depart Paihia and proceed Auckland. Evening at leisure.

Day 6 – AUCKLAND – WAITOMO – HOBBITON – AUCKLAND (B, L)
See the magical Waitomo Caves with picnic lunch included and the Hobbiton Movie Set on a full-day sightseeing tour from Auckland. Step on board your luxury coach tour and travel south, taking in typical New Zealand scenery as you ride – lush green farmland and rolling hills. Your driver will provide and entertaining and informative commentary throughout the day.

Day 7 – AUCKLAND – CHRISTCHURCH (B)
Depart Auckland in the morning on your domestic flight to Christchurch [Flight cost NOT included]. On arrival you will visit to the World’s Best Antarctic Attraction. The International Antarctic Centre it’s the “must see” attraction of Christchurch. Twice judged “The Best Attraction” in NZ, the Antarctic Centre is a polar experience (Admission included). After this wonderful experience you shall check-in your hotel. Later, in the afternoon you may relax OR move around the city to uncover its rich history, you can visit the Canterbury Museum & Art Gallery, Mona Vale, Hagley Park, Botanical Garden etc.

Day 8 – CHRISTCHURCH (B)
Today you shall proceed to Kaikoura by the Coastal Pacific train OR Intercity Coach (as per availability) to enjoy the famous Whale watch cruise (Admission included). In the afternoon you will again return to the ‘Garden City’ of Christchurch. You shall be transferred to your accommodation.

Day 9 – CHRISTCHURCH – DUNEDIN (B)
Travel south by coach over the Canterbury Plains to the cities of Timaru and Oamaru. Follow the coastline to Palmerston and then its over the Kilmog Hill and Mount Cargill to Dunedin – the Edinburgh of the south. Arrive Dunedin 1.45pm. Late afternoon you will enjoy the Otago Peninsula tour to see the Yellow Eyed Penguins/seals etc.,

Day 10 – DUNEDIN – TE ANAU (B)
Morning at leisure in Dunedin. In the afternoon board the coach for your journey through the lush pastures of Otago and Southland to the lakeside resort of Te Anau, arriving at 6.30pm.

Day 11 – TE ANAU – MILFORD SOUND – QUEENSTOWN (B, L)
Enter the Eglinton Valley and travel through the breath-taking man-made Homer Tunnel to reach Milford Sound. Enjoy a cruise with picnic lunch on this world-famous fiord, dominated by Mitre Peak and the cascading Bowen Falls. Return to Queenstown.

Day 12 – QUEENSTOWN (B)
A free day to explore the endless optional attractions available. Queenstown offers bungy jumping, canyon swing, jet-boating, white water rafting, gondola rides, skydiving and much more. Optional activities not included in the tour price.

Day 13 – QUEENSTOWN – MT COOK – CHRISTCHURCH – DEPARTURE DAY (B)
Travel through the Central Otago region to Lake Pukaki and Mt Cook or ‘Aorangi’, the cloud piercer. Visit the Church of the Good Shepherd at Lake Tekapo before travelling across the Canterbury Plains to arrive in Christchurch by evening.
Your arrangements conclude today with a departure transfer OR the return of your rental car before boarding your flight.
